Summer is very quickly becoming my favorite season. It’s been fun watching my kids conquer fears, live their joys and enjoy the warm air at our favorite evening hangout – Rolling Hills Park. For the first post to this project, I captured the energy, movement and expressions as the kids worked their way around the park.
The swings are always their first stop. He loves it when I tap his feet, like a high 5. She simply wants to go “higher!” and feel the wind in her hair.
He’ll follow her to the moon if she had the notion to go.
But when he finds his own adventures, the glee on his face is remarkable.
Finding her balance and climbing are her latest adventures. This extra fancy teeter-totter is a new obsession.
He practices his numbers as he counts the pads.
