Fitness Progress Report
All right folks! Here it is – my first month fitness report. I’ll be doing this monthly to make sure my new year’s resolution doesn’t fall to the wayside. The workouts were harder to fit in as the month progressed and life got chaotic again but I tried not to make it an excuse. If I couldn’t fit in a workout, I ate healthier. If I indulged, I added another 20 minutes of exercise. I planned more meals and prepared healthy snacks.
The results – PROGRESS!
February 2016 Progress Report
Minutes per Mile: 12:45
Workout Minutes: 345 minutes
Weight Lost: 6 pounds
I’m very happy with my progress for the first month. I lost 6 pounds. I’m a better planner with my food. I’m not starving myself and I’m making better choices. I love it.
My plans for February:
- Add an extra workout per week.
- Add veggies into every dinner
- Get a couple more workouts outdoors. I didn’t get to hike as much as I’d like with El Nino sweeping through California, but I’m hoping to fit a couple more in here.
- Try a new healthy snack. I don’t want to get bored with what I eat. That’s what drives me to my old habits.
