I love a good afternoon playdate. Mostly because the kids are occupied and I have time to actually put laundry away. On this particular afternoon, I happened to have my camera on hand as I was prepping for a photoshoot when I saw Max hanging out with his favorite gal pal.
The light in our family room is always awesome in the afternoon. Light streams through the blinds and provide wonderful pockets throughout. This room is RARELY spotless as it’s the general living area in our home for both adults & kids. That’s okay though. I decided to shoot through the clutter & capture some moments with the kids.
Pullback
To isolate my subjects, I literally shot through the clutter & used it to frame them in the image. In the second image, I used the pitching counter tops as a reflection to eliminate the coffee table.
