I’m losing my toes! |
My goodness, I’m still feeling huge. Luckily I don’t have much of an appetite these days, what with nausea still being my constant companion. The pregnancy continues to go well though.
I’ve started to feel the flutters much more consistently. Occassionally, I’ll feel something stronger but the flutters are definitely there.
Baby’s heartbeat at the last appointment was 146. Nice, strong and loud! He (or she) is on the move too. Doctor was able to find the heartbeat around my belly button area, much higher than the last placement.
And I’m further along in my pregnancy that now I get to see Mr. Doctor-man every 3 weeks instead of every 4. Not everyone’s idea of an exciting milestone, but changes are a’coming!
My sweet, little Malia celebrated her first birthday last week. Can you believe it? I’m a mother to a one-year old! She’s more confident with her walking too. She’s up to 16 steps and has no probably getting into a standing position.
She’s learned to hold up a finger when someone asks her how old she is.
She points to mommy’s nose when we ask her “Where’s your nose?” Sometimes she’ll point to her own nose, but it’s much more fun to point to mommy’s. 🙂
Dad-dy has made a come back in her vocabulary. It’s been Ma-ma (much to my heart’s delight) for the most part, but now it’s a clear, distinctive Dad-dy! Her favorite playtime activity is pillow fort, where she sits among the pillows, waiting for daddy to pounce on her. Mike has gotten to playing it with her every night, and she LOVES it!
And I promise I’ll take a better belly photo for this week. 🙂
