My wanderlust always goes into over drive around the new year. During a time of change and reflection, adventure always seems to come to mind. I didn’t get to travel much in 2017, just small trips here and there. I plan on a little bit more in 2018. In the meantime, here are some of the favorite places I’ve traveled to over the years (and hope to go back to).
Alaska
It’s always amazing how places like Alaska can make you feel. The cruise was so much but the to actually explore the land was amazing. Alaska is truly the last frontier. Every where we went felt vast and took you back to a time before concrete jungles.
France
Oh heavenly light. The sun was setting on the Louvre and the lights, the architecture and the beauty of Paris hit me straight in the face. Paris is always such an amazing feast for the senses. Every visit brings a different experience and is better than the last. Just when I think I’ve had enough of this city, I end up wanting to go back.
New York
It’s been quite some time since I’ve been to New York but the energy and life to that city is unmatched. I look forward to going back and seeing it with fresh eyes.
Maui
Maui still remains the home of my heart. The spectrum of colors you can see in one evening always puts me in a good mood. The warm breeze and soft sand rejuvenate my spirit every time I visit.
What’s on your Travel Bucket List?
This year I’m excited to go to on my Mediterranean cruise. I get to return to Italy (with a little more spending power than my college budget), visit Croatia and see the buildings in Santorini. To say that I’m excited is an understatement. I also hope to visit the coast in Oregon at some point this year or perhaps simply return to Maui.
