I hope you all are feeling better. I know how rough it is to go through all that. Poor kiddos! Poor you too! This is the first week since the end of January that no one is currently sick in our house (knock on wood!). This is the first day I’m able to wear my contacts again. Rhett’s pink eye cleared up quick. Mine was a little longer and then it was gone, or so I thought. It came back (or never went away) after 2 days of what I thought was clearness. So then I had it for another week! I had to drag Rhett into the doctor with me last week to get more drops, cuz he was on break, and I was like “don’t touch anything in this office, don’t even breathe in the air!” Haha!
Rhett had off last week. We spent the 2nd part of the week doing Rhett’s passport appointment (yay!), and then we went up to Chattanooga to do their children’s museum and aquarium. The weather was super nice and it was fun. We took Rhett to a driving range on Friday, where he picked up a club for the first time as a big kid (not the plastic baby/toddler clubs he used to have). He worked hard not to swing the club like a baseball bat, so it was fun to watch him learn. We’ve been knee deep in baseball all month. I’m the Team Mom and I’m running the dugout, so I’ll have my hands full this season! Rhett is playing in a more competitive league. Before, he was one of the best on his team. Now, he’s one of the worst. It’s great for him to play with better kids as his skill level improves much more.
I’m super busy in the house catching up on things from the break last week, and volunteering at the school as usual. Trying to read as much as I can. Nothing too interesting.
Happy March everyone!
