Okay, got it. Yeah, that’s a tough decision. It’s hard when the primary school is okay, but then the secondary schools are not. We have pockets of that here, where the parents like the Elementary school, but are more concerned with middle & high shcool. What about moving before middle school/high school come around? So that she can attend Elementary School at no cost, and then maybe moving to another area after that? But, oh gosh, getting out at 11:30 is rough and doesn’t solve your problem! So, it’s only a half-day kindergarten? That’s how it was when I was little. Here, they go full Elementary school hours. I drop Rhett off at 7:30 and pick him up at 2:30. Which is still a challenge for parents who work. They have ASP, after school program, or after school prison as the kids call it haha! Some parents do that until later, some will have the kids go on to a daycare after school until they can pick them up. Some have sitters after school. So tough when you work. I hear you about cost. Even in the good school areas we live in, some people we know opt for private school for different reasons, and a year’s tuition is more than I paid to go to college! I can’t stomach that!
Good luck. Can’t wait to hear about her new school year, in person! 🙂
