Me too! It will be so fun!!
Oh yeah, some of the fans are cray cray. I’ve been mostly happy with the show, so I don’t have too many ‘complaints’ per se, just some preferences here & there.
Totally agree with you about when Claire went back to the stones to decide her fate. I am re-watching all the eppies now, and in the 1st eppy of season 2, they show a lot of Claire feeling torn about the Jamie/Frank thing. But too late, cuz she’s already forward in time. She tells Frank a bunch of times “I love him. I was his wife. I was with him. Etc.” And when Frank tries to persuade her to stay, she spends a good bit of that episode torn between the two. But it lacks the urgency of her deciding when she’s back at the stones and then goes back to Jamie. (And then in that same eppy, Tobias goes all Jack Randall and beats the crap out of the garden shed haha!)
Similar to what you were saying, I felt like the Jamie/Claire goodbye episode in season 2 where Claire goes forward in time was kind of rushed too. I kind of liked how you could feel the rushing, like she had a to make a super hard decision super fast. But, then once they cut out the carving of the initials in their hand, I was bummed and it was a buzzkill. They should have done it! The showrunners gave reasons why they didn’t do it, like the cave, but I think they could have made it work. Heck, I would have volunteered my hand for a hand stunt double shot. Carve a J in it, I don’t care! Haha!
