I am going to see an infectious disease specialist in a few weeks. Unfortunately (and fortunately), I am currently all better. So, hopefully, they can give me some answers based on my medical journal and the photos I took. My swelling was gone before we left for Maui. I had a little leftover pain in my legs, but we didn’t do anything too strenuous on the trip. I am all better now. Definitely frustrating to be a walking medical mystery! I am going in for a full cardio workup, including a stress test, just so they can make sure, again, that it is not heart failure related. Sometimes, when they see swelling, they get concerned about heart failure. But, that doesn’t seem to be what is happening to me.
