I’m so glad I did the challenge. I lost my first 30 pounds focusing on nutrition and fitness at my work gym. But then my “coach” left the company and I was left fending for myself. I had 20 more pounds to lose so I decided to do the 6 week challenge to give me a new push. The workouts were comparable to the ones my co-worker was putting me through so that actually wasn’t as bad as I thought. The intensity was a little more intense but I had plateaued with him anyway so it was time. Consistency was the biggest challenge but I love working out so I got into the groove pretty quickly. I’m 4 pounds from reaching that 20# mark and getting my money back….but I’m going to become a member. It was a really great experience.
I’ll find out next month if I can finally get off my blood pressure medication and I’m down 2 dress sizes. Woot woot! And I’ll be happy not to have to do those FB check-ins anymore. lol I hate spamming my feed but it was one of the requirements of the challenge. I’ll switch to maintenance if I lose the 20 pounds. So far so good.
My health scares a couple years ago really had me re-evaluate my nutrition and lifestyle. I really wanted to live my 40’s being the best version of myself. It’s been a really great journey.
