Oh – California Adventure is adjacent to Classic Disneyland. The main plaza separates to two entrances and you just pick which one you’ll go to (for a price, of course) It has it’s own set of rides, parades and shows. Since we usually go 2-3 days, we get a park hopper and go to both parks. Just another way to spend more money. I love Disneyland for the nostalgia but California Disney has it’s own perks. Cars Land is there and Max ADORES it. The Cars ride is one of the most popular rides, as is Soarin’. Guardians of the Galaxy (formerly the Tower of Terror) is a great ride too. I actually prefer California Adventure to Disneyland but a trip to Disneyland doesn’t feel complete without all of the classic rides or the castle, so we always do both.
Heck yeah we’d meet up with you. We always plan our trips to Disney around the Southwest $39 sale but we never complain about a trip to Disneyland. 🙂
