I would love to see a show in NY! I don’t really want to go back for any other reason, but to see a show. Being able to see a cool show would make me want to go back! Phantom of the Opera would be awesome!!
Yes, same here. We saw a lot of stuff in NY pre-9/11. It is super weird, because in January 2001, Scott’s grandparents rented a limo for the whole family to ride around the city in. We got out and did all sorts of things. It was fun. But, I am forever freaked out because we went into the World Trade Center that night. And then to think only 9 months later it was literally gone. That was so hard, so sad. An amazing, resilient city for sure. When we were on the subway, we passed through the new World Trade Center stop, and it is eerie how new and nice it looks compared to the other stops, but for a terrible reason. That freaked me out.
Haha, yes, Uber virgins no longer! I can see the merits of using the service. We’re just too ultra-paranoid to use it. I am not a fan of some of their business practices, and of course the horrible stories you hear about definitely freak me out. The company still has a long way to go to make me feel comfortable using it. If it improves, I would be more willing to do it. We know a few people who drive for Uber, and I can’t picture them doing it because I see them in a totally different light haha!
