LOL – I have a couple of uncles that do it in their spare time. My cousin does SFO to downtown SF on Saturday and Sunday for some quick cash. I have a niece and nephew who do it between their college classes. I’ve had more scary experiences with cabs than I have with uber (so far). I think the horror stories are very isolated and seem to occur with early morning/late night excursions. I wouldn’t take one alone but I wouldn’t take a cab alone either….just one of the many precautions women have to take in general.
