Love that Mary! Seeing more of California would be awesome. Such an amazing state with so many different places to go and things to see. Yes for the pull-up! Shoot, I could never even do a pull-up in grade school or middle school, let alone now! You go!
I don’t really do “New Year’s Resolutions.” I like to just set different goals that last for many years, or are life long. This year, a goal was to stop picking at zits & facial blemishes. I don’t get a lot, but when they pop up, it drives me crazy! I have done really well with this. I haven’t been perfect, but I have done such a good job stopping myself from doing it. Literally just mind over matter, forcing my brain not to do it haha!
Another thing I’ve tried to do in 2018 is to cut back on my use of paper towels. In the past, I have been the paper towel queen. Because I love to clean and because I clean so much, I feel like I was just using so many paper towels all the time. They are inexpensive and we have the space to store humongous bundles of them. I am a tree hugger and always looking for ways I can be more earth-friendly. My guilt over using paper products has gone up a lot since Rhett was born. So, yeah, I did pretty good with this one too. I won’t cut out the use of paper towels completely, but I have cut back a lot. Since I am a neat freak, I hate cleaning with rags. It grosses me out a lot. But, I developed a system with a few trusty rags/towels that I have been able to implement to keep my paper towel use down, and also not gross me out too much.
It’s the little things! 🙂
