I think one year I did a “use more coupons” to help save money.
I don’t do resolutions so much. Mostly because I found I never really followed through with them at that level. I’m a planner and goal setter by nature so I tend to think of what I want to accomplish in one year, then I break it down by month/week. And I try to be as specific as possible. When my goal was to “lose weight” – I broke that out into so many different components (weight, inches, new PRs, etc). It was much more rewarding to celebrate the small wins and even better to witness their culmination.
I think I want to play more tennis this year so that’ll probably be my new fitness goal.
