I am soooooo angry.
1. No Euron did not just kill that dragon that early on in the episode. I.WAS.NOT.READY. for that. Not ready. And I’m not okay. And it was Jon’s dragon…and he wasn’t even there to even witness it. That just pisses me off because all episode it was Dany who had to 1) play second fiddle to Jon 2) witness the death of her “child” 3) witness the death of her #1 girl. Yeah, of COURSE, she’s going to be pushed to a brink….and how convenient that it’s Jon who’s going to look like the rational one.
Ugh – I’m seriously angry about it because it’s so OBVIOUS! And it’s so cliche. Yes, the man is rational. Yes the man is even tempered. Dany is emotional. Dany is unhinged. Dany is losing it. Ugh! It’s just so stereo typical. Women simply can’t be in control of their emotions.
Women don’t have penises so they won’t be followed. blah blah blah. I really hate that that’s the direction they decided to take for a woman who has won over people, has grown her army from nothing, has offered her people, her dragons and in the end it’s “well, she’s a woman”
The sad part is — it’s a predictable way to write the story. The bad part is….this is GOT…it’s not supposed to be predictable. The easy story isn’t supposed to be told. Jon being the rational one is the EASY story.
2. Cersei & her minions. I hate them all. Hate them wiht the blaze of Dany’s dragon fire. It’s infuriating that the conniving & cunning is so well done by Cersei. I’m so tired of her having the upper hand. I need to see Dany get one over on her because she is intelligent. She has seen battle and she’s dealt with more personal loss. I don’t want her to lose it all simply because she’s behaving like “a woman”
3. Sansa and that parting comment to Jaime. RMFE. You won’t support your queen. You’re undermining her. You’re not giving her a chance and that smug comment by her in the end wanted me to slap the shit out of her. I’ve always rooted for her but ugh – that was so un-Stark like.
At this point, I am rooting for Sansa to win the throne. But I want it to come at the cost of EVERYTHING she cares about. I want Jon, Dany, Arya all to die to get her to the throne. I know what she has gone through. I know her personal tragedies have helped her be who she is. I’ve loved that about her. But she can’t see past her pride to give Dany a chance….so let that pride get her the throne while all the people who have not only been through personal sacrifices but have also felt the utter devastation of the people they care about, make the ultimate sacrifice.
