I’ve been reflecting a lot on Dany. I was a fan in season 1, but slowly less and less. She killed a lot of people in her rise. She was advised by Jorah, Tyrion and others to not do more harm. This is how she was written in the books. So Dany falling into her emotions and madness is not out of the realm. She has been throne happy from the beginning. She believed it was her blood right to sit on that throne. So meh, whatever with her ending. I wanted to like her more than I did. For me, part of that is Emilia Clarke. I don’t think she’s a good actress. And neither is Kit Harrington. So they both fall flat.
I don’t think the Starks have lost more, but the show focus has been more them than the other houses. It started with them in Winterfell.
Maybe in the future I’ll decide to watch the journey through episode 8×03. I don’t care to put myself through episodes 4 and 5 again, well, I’ll have to with 5 tonight since my friend is coming over to watch it.
I’m glad its done so I don’t have to wonder and debate it.
