I did feel bad for KD last night. He seems to have a lot of injury troubles!
Warriors have been battling through this season with injuries across the board. KD definitely has the heart of a Warrior & that pushed him to the floor last night. It’s heartbreaking that it comes at such an awful cost. And it completely turns the off season upside down for him. I hope he gets healed quickly & is back on the court at full health.
I’m trying to tune out the media this season with the “Where is he going?” “He’s checked out” commentary. It’s completely spun out of control.
I think a lot of factors played into why KD decided to play last night but at the heart of it, I think he just wanted to be there for his teammates & help them get that win. I want so badly to go to the game on Thursday night. It’ll be the final Warriors game at Oracle Arena & an emotional one at that.
That would be awesome! Let us know if you end up getting to go!!
So bummed the Warriors – not because I wanted the repeat, but it’s the end of what the Warriors have been. KD will probably be gone. Iguodala will likely return, as will Livingston. Curry isn’t the same shooter he was…and Klay may not be back. Not to mention, no more Oracle Arena. I’m not a big fan of new, snazzy arenas. So yeah, sad.
But if we had to lose, I’m glad it was to Toronto. A team I don’t hate, with players that are young and talented. Great to see Kawhi come back and win after his injury.
Yeah, if Golden State wasn’t gonna win, I was glad a “different” team one, and not the same-old franchises!
