Discuss all things GOT.
May 24, 2017 at 3:44 pm #4191I’m so excited for the new trailer. Definitely something to look forward to this Summer!
May 29, 2017 at 3:11 pm #4195I’m excited about it being on in summer so that I have something fun to watch soon, even though we had to wait extra long! I’m interested to see how the show winds down. I’m definitely not “into” it like I used to be, and I’m kind of looking forward to seeing it come to an end, but for mostly good reasons because I want to see what happens with everything.
July 24, 2017 at 1:30 pm #4264Arya’s headed home! YAY!
Jon and Dany are going to meet. Double YAY!
Dammit – Cersei is still alive.
Dammit – Jamie still supports her.
Euron – daaaaamn dude. You’re beastly scary and I hate you.
Theon – WTF man – redeeming moment #FAIL
Sand Snakes – you finally show some bad ass moves and then they killed ya.
“Be a Dragon” – hell yeah, girl power rocks. Loved that war council.
Arya with her wolf – love the nod to the first season and the person Arya is. Love her.
Sex scene – just leave the door open and enjoy! lol
“Bend a Knee” – again, girl power!
Sansa – Queen of the North!
“Let’s Make Westoros Great Again” – ummm, please don’t use that line again.August 2, 2017 at 7:05 am #4273I really like the faster pace of this season so far. One of my complaints in the past is that the episodes drag and are too slow. (And there were never enough hot guys. Thank you Greyworm for being so hot!) Okay, Cersei needs to go. I’ve never liked her, and I still don’t. She does nothing for me. No character growth at all. Sick of her antics. She’s like the villain on a soap opera that just won’t go away. I’m pretty sure she’ll end up dying, and I can’t wait to see it! It’s a shame too, because I like Lena H. I just hate this role. It’s so static and boring.
My biggest cheerlead is for Theon. I want him to be redeemed and back to normal.
August 2, 2017 at 9:09 am #4275Oh Cersei – she has definitely been watching her father at work. Cold and cunning. She’s always a step ahead. I can’t stand it. Hoping Dany unleashes fire next week — lots of it.
Ahhh Lady Tyrell – what a way to go! I’m going to miss that woman. But why wouldn’t she have moved that gold ahead of time?
Dany and Jon…..great scenes with them. I’m glad he didn’t bend a knee but am happy that they both are seeing that they need to give a little to get on each other’s good side.
More Stark reunions please! I love Sansa’s character (amazing since she made me cringe the first season) so I’m really looking forward to seeing what she’s got going on in her head. I hate to see her go too dark. I’m hoping being with her family will push down her demons.
Euron can die soon too. Real soon.
April 15, 2019 at 8:37 am #5845Welcome back GOT!
That Jon/Arya reunion was all I needed to see. I’ve been waiting for that forever. Arya watching him from the crowds already got me choked up. Her leaping into his arms, just like in Season 1, was perfect. Yes yes yes to it all. Even his reunion with his little bro was great. Bran seems to have a little more life to him this season. But that last shot of him staring down Jamie. Oh boy…..
Jon riding his dragon. LMAO – loved it. And ummm, the dragon staring him down like “You my daddy now???” lol too funny. Dany & Jon are so wrong but soooo good. I love them together but it’s sooooo wrong, dammit! lol Bad sign for Dany though – the last time he hung out in a cave with his ladylove & returned back to reality, things didn’t go well for said ladylove. Sigh. Damn this series. I love Dany so much & really enjoyed the life in her this episode – her smile as her dragon flew overhead, teasing Jon, meeting Sansa, all of it. She just shines.
Sansa & Tyrion – I really enjoyed their scenes too. “Many underestimated you. Most of them are dead now.” to the “I used to think you were the cleverest man alive.” She has changed and grown so much. She’s a leader who is not fooled by Cersei. She’s a survivor who made it further than most of the people who tortured her. Bravo. I LOVED her scenes. Her passive-aggressiveness towards her “queen” to her moments with Jon – all well played.
Cersei & Euron….lmao. Oh man, whatever gets you through. lol
Theon rescuing Yara – woot woot! Go bro.
April 15, 2019 at 9:46 am #5846We’re definitely on opposite ends of the spectrum haha! I don’t like the show much anymore, and will only be watching this last season because I’ve invested so much time in the show already. But, my interest is pretty low and I don’t really have any expectations. There are still several characters I really like and that I root for. So, I will be interested to see how things turn out for them.
I thought this first episode was mostly a cheese-fest. The whole dragon-riding scene. No comment haha! I was not feeling the episode at all. I was glad to see some of my old favorites, and my interest throughout the season will come from watching how things go for them.
April 15, 2019 at 10:58 am #5847LOL – for a minute I thought I was in the Outlander thread. lol
April 18, 2019 at 3:38 pm #5849Haha! Same reaction honestly. And it’s sad, because I just want to love these shows so much more. The length of time between seasons really messes me up. I feel like I move on to bigger & better things during those times, and my interest just goes away for the shows I was once excited for.
For now, I will be triple crossing all my fingers that none of the characters I like will die this season haha! But, it is GOT, so I am scurrrrred for the futures of my fave characters!!
