There’s something about motherhood that makes life feel like you’ve come full #circle. I feel it so much more when it comes to my daughter.

Every time I look at her or talk to her, I ask myself “What do I want for her in this situation?” Am I protecting her from the dark things in this world? Am I helping her spread her wings? Is she a budding leader? Is she happy? Am I making her better? Does she have everything that I was missing?

As a parent, you want them to have more than you in all aspects of life. You want to protect them from the things that hurt you. You strive to give them the tools that were harder for you to come by. You want to make their weaknesses their strengths. I feel this way with my son too, of course, but raising a strong young woman has always been one of my fears - fear of failing or choosing wrong.

Yet, even at 11 years old, she’s so much more than I could have imagined. ❤️ Life has indeed come full circle in so many ways because I look at her and see what I could have become. ❤️❤️

She was craving funnel cake & missing friends. Plus her brother was irritating her so why not? We grabbed our season passes, hopped on our favorite rides and enjoyed her coveted funnel cake 😍
