Barba is gone! 🙁 I was really sad after last night’s episode. It’s been so hard to get a DA that we like and I warmed up to him quickly. I LOVED his last scenes with Olivia – the friendship they fostered and the respect they had as professionals. Great scene. He did so good in this episode throughout.
I liked the new lawyer in Chicago Justice – good presence and good actor. Will be interesting to see how he fits in with the crew.
Still bummed about Barba though. 🙁

Last night’s episode was good. I felt bad for both sides. I liked Carisi on the stand and how Stone took the surprise. And I like the chemistry between Stone and Liv. I’m not sure if it’s going there but it’s a nice dynamic.

I’m slowly warming up to Stone. It always takes me a bit to warm up to the new ADA. Even more so when I loved the previous one like i did with Barba. I was the same way when Alex left. Speaking of Alex, I’m really looking forward to her guest appearance in the next episode.
I’ve been pretty obvious about not liking Amanda. Pretty much since her first episode, really. I’ve grown to tolerate her. But this week’s episode and her somewhat odd out of nowhere attitude had me back to hoping she’d get a fabulous job offer elsewhere again.
April 17, 2018 at 10:21 am #4919I liked Stone’s character from the Chicago shows but wasn’t at all prepared for him to join the cast of SVU. Like you I loved Barba. I had no clue he was leaving the show and his last episode was such a great performance. I came to really love his friendship with Liv too. But I’m liking Stone. His calm fits just right.
I can’t wait to see Alex! She’s still my favorite too. It’s funny how the DA position really is important to the SVU stories.
May 24, 2018 at 11:17 am #5050Of COURSE, Liv was the one who found them in the hotel. RME You just gotta laugh. Mariska always rocks her scenes and all but that’s beyond predictable.
I was really hoping Miguel was not the guy. I spent the entire episode unsure but he was.
I wish they hadn’t killed off Stone’s sister. It was too soon. The character is still getting established on the show so I felt like the emotional impact fell flat. I do enjoy seeing Liv and him go at it. They both have a really strong energy with great respect.
September 14, 2018 at 3:51 pm #5276It took me a couple of episodes to realize that Danny Pino was Galindo in Mayans MC. Such a different role! I can’t see it being long lived the way Kurt Sutter kills of characters but it’s great to see him again.
