Big, small, pinterest worthy (or not) – share your party ideas here
January 25, 2017 at 4:13 pm #3780Malia’s having a Moana party this year. One of the hula girls will be dressing up as Moana. I’m super excited!
It’ll be a pineapple party decor theme. Lots of yellow and green foliage. I can’t wait to start creating the decor.I’m making headpieces for the little girls to wear as a party favor. I also am searching for the Disneyland Dole Whip drink recipe. That’s a must! 🙂
January 30, 2017 at 5:50 am #3803OMG, I need to attend this party! LOL!! Sounds super cute, and I want those Dole Whip drinks in my life 🙂
That will be so fun for all of the kiddos. I love it!
We have been attending a slew of Rhett’s friends’ parties the past few months. Hopefully we get a little break soon. I do appreciate that all of the parties have been reasonable and not too crazy & outlandish.
We are thinking of doing Rhett’s 7th in July at the fun bowling place close by. I can’t have so many young boys in my house (I’d probably keel over from the mess alone, haha), so I’m always looking for a reasonable place to have a fun party. He makes his opinions known more now, so that helps in making decisions. Our biggest splurge is always the cake. I love getting our baker-lady to do a fabulous cake, and I love to see the kids’ faces when they see it. We’ll either be back to a baseball theme again this year, or Star Wars, which is always a staple.
January 31, 2017 at 1:31 pm #3822LOL – yes, the clean up is such a pain in the ass. I much prefer to hold the parties at a play center or something like that. But Moana is too much of a new thing for her not to want one and it’s going to be so much fun for me to plan and design.
Ha! I always go all out for the cake too. Our baker does such a beautiful job. I think this year we won’t use her though. I have a cake design in mind that will be totally doable.
February 5, 2018 at 7:47 am #4778What are ya’ll doing for Malia’s birthday this year? Are you doing something small, or bigger? Is she excited?
February 5, 2018 at 10:17 am #4781She is super excited. After school on Wednesday, I’m taking her to Fairytale Town again.
This weekend is her birthday party with friends at her gymnastics school. I’m going for a Mermaid/Sea Life party. Not too big. No Princesses will be showing up this year. 🙂February 5, 2018 at 6:12 pm #4782That sounds fun! She’ll get to celebrate all week 🙂
February 6, 2018 at 10:06 am #4783She is very excited. lol I feel like she’s been talking about her birthday since Christmas passed. lol
February 13, 2018 at 12:49 pm #4833Malia had a fabulous birthday party at her gymnastics gym. The facility was great and perfect for all of the kids. The coaches created a circuit for all the kids to do that introduced them to the different apparatuses. It was a hit. Very engaging and fun for them. They DEVOURED their pizza and gobbled up all of the snacks.
I met Malia’s boyfriend and he is just the cutest thing. Sweet, with kind eyes and the most luscious curly hair. He takes the Ninja course at the gym so he jumped right in and stuck by Malia’s side the entire time. His mom was super nice too and told me that he talks about Malia all the time and calls her his best friend and girlfriend. 🙂
February 26, 2018 at 11:01 am #4841Awww, I’m so glad her birthday and her party went well. It’s always so fun to see them grow up, and bittersweet that they grow up so fast!
