What are you currently reading?
February 26, 2019 at 8:46 am #5794I’ve been reading a lot of business & self-help books lately. I’m hoping to throw in some fiction soon.
February 28, 2019 at 5:20 am #5800I seriously want to start counting the books I read with Rhett haha! They add up!! Do you know how many damn Dog Man and Captain Underpants books I’ve read?!? 🙂 We are reading How To Train Your Dragon with him because it is a little harder. He’s reading Magic Treehouse Merlin Missions by himself, and I’m like, wait, I want to read that too 🙁
February 28, 2019 at 7:27 am #5801You totally should! Keep a separate list! My nephew is reading Goblet of Fire (Harry Potter). I’m beyond thrilled he’s loving the series. I’m tempted to reread the series with him. Can’t believe he’s going to be 9 in April.
April 18, 2019 at 3:41 pm #5850I just bought an item on EBay for a cleaning project I’m doing. While on the site, for kicks I looked at my purchase history. OMG, the amount of books I used to buy on EBay/half.com!! My goodness, it’s hard to even remember having that much time to read all those books. Looking at the purchase history was a visceral reminder of how much I once read compared to now. Once I became pregnant & became a mom, my reading habits changed so much, that it’s sometimes hard to remember the old-reading days!
May 2, 2019 at 9:27 am #5876I find myself drawn into Russian history stories. I’m reading “I was Anastasia“ and it sent me online looking up more info on the Romanov family.
Interesting read so far!
May 4, 2019 at 5:20 pm #5900Oooh, that sounds cool. I enjoy Russian history, especially approx. from 1500 forward. I enjoy learning about it. Girl, don’t make me add another book to my TBR pile haha!
May 4, 2019 at 6:18 pm #5901The series we read that was based on Russian folk tales definitely peaked my interest. I tend to focus on English history & know very little about Russia. Definitely very interesting!
May 6, 2019 at 8:02 am #5903I will check it out at some point if I get the chance. It sounds cool!
June 18, 2019 at 11:31 am #6125I just wrapped up Shadow on the Crown by Patricia Bracewell. I enjoyed it a lot. It was a nice change to the Tudor era. I did the audible version and the narration was wonderful. I’m going to move on to the second book in the trilogy.
