We’re so excited that our little Maxim is enrolled in the spring season of indoor soccer with the Vacaville Indoor Sports Complex. We’ve kept his sister pretty active through ballet and swim classes but have been trying to find something her little brother would enjoy.
Then we heard about the Vacaville Indoor Sports Complex Open house.
Since Maxim enjoys kicking the ball and running around, we thought it was a perfect fit for his first extra curricular activity. We liked the various age groups available and the time slots – making it flexible for all types of family schedules. The classes were 50 minutes long for 12 weeks. Check out their website for more information. Kids that enroll get a jersey and soccer ball to take home. Walk-ins are also available for families who want to come out and see what the classes are all about.
For his first class, he did pretty good! He likes to do things at his pace and is definitely not a follower by nature. It did take some time for him to adjust to the group setting and to get use to the general chaos around him. Once he got his groove, he was happily participating and following the instructions from the coaches.
The Vacaville Indoor Sports Complex is located off of Vaca Valley Parkway across from the Vacaville Kaiser hospital. There are different age groups of classes and a variety of scheduling options. Check out the website for more information.
