Sunkissed
The trees are laden with fruit this summer. After all the rain we got during spring, the plants were bursting with fruit. As the sun was starting to set, we decided to head out to the back and pick some fruit. The peach tree hunched over with the weight of all the fruit. Under our feet, every other step had the squishy juices of the fallen fruit. It filled the air with fruity fragrance.
Malia was stretching towards the branches and I noticed the sun peeking through the leaves. The peaches had a beautiful, sunkissed color. It illuminated the leaves and turned the peaches a luminescent orange. It was a true vision of summer.
The image was shot with a Canon Mark II and Sigma Art 35 at ISO 100, f/16. I loved capturing the starburst through the leaves. It made me feel like the peaches were truly sunkissed.
Here are some more images from our summer evening.
