Clipping coupons? Perusing weekly ads?
Well, I’m no extreme coupon-er, but I have found myself looking through the Sunday ads, matching the sales to the coupons I’ve found, and then logging onto the internet to find a manufacturer coupon. LOL! Today I paired a $5.00 BRU Pampers Coupon with a $2.00 off manufacturer coupon and bought a value box of diapers.
Yes, and I’m proud of myself. I can get myself a mocha tomorrow with my savings. A GRANDE! LOL
Okay, so I’m a novice. But I’ve noticed so many other changes in what I do. Crocheting hats for baby girl? Stacking up the children’s books. Looking through dress patterns to make summer dresses out of all the fabric I’ve purchased in Hawaii? What’s come over me?
Motherhood. I love it.
And now I’m off to finish the new bonnet that I’m making in SF Giants colors.
I know exactly what you mean here. I have become so domestic it is quite funny! Compared to some of my friends, who are career driven, independent women, I’m like Martha Stewart over here. Cooking, cleaning, sewing, etc! I love it though, it all makes me so happy!
Side note… I tried the whole couponing thing. I went crazy for awhile, did save some money for sure, but I just got tired of it all! I tried to stay organized and all that but it was way too much trouble for me, with three kids. I still look for good deals but I don’t consider myself a couponer, as I was starting to. Good luck!
