Since I don’t always have my DSLR camera on me, but LOVE taking photos – I use what I have on me. Like most people, I’m sure it’s their phone. Here are some of my favorite iphone photo apps to capture, edit and share my images with:
Instagram: Most people I know have an instagram account (if you have one, share it in the comments. I’d love to follow you). I love using the hashtags to see who’s doing something similar. For example, are you a #runningmom? Me too! I go for my run, snap a shot and use that hashtag to see what other running moms are doing. I click on the hashtag and see what the view is like for other running moms.
I also love how easy it is to document every day moments. I often find myself scrolling through my images and re-living some of the wonderful moments of the past year. Here’s a quick snapshot:
I also love PRINTING my instagram photos. I use Artifact Uprising for my instagram prints. The quality and style are just lovely.
Rhonna Design Magic: I am addicted to this app right now. I discovered Rhonna Design from a friend at a photography conference. What fun! I particularly love the ability to use layers to make your photo edits. It’s so easy to use and gives you so many creative ways to change your images.
Rhonna Design: As a sister to RDM, Rhonna Design lets you add all the fun words and graphics to an image. Mix and match frames, phrases and shapes to add a little something extra to your photos.

Bubble Frame: This is a new app for me recommended by other photography friends. Create your own layouts or use the presets to share a storyboard of images. You can easily add text, backgrounds and additional frames to tell a story in one image.
Those are just my most used apps. What are some of your favorite photo apps for your phone?
Right now I just use the Instagram editor and VSCOcam, but I don’t really like that one. Oh and I’ve been using PhotoGrid to make my #Nerdvember pictures this month 🙂 I’m going to check some of these apps out, though!
