It’s almost 2016! Where the heck did the year go?
Well, just like all other new year, it’s a time for new beginnings, new changes, new resolution. Ah, yes, there it is. RESOLUTIONS.
Really, my resolutions don’t differ much from everyone else. Get fit, save money, get rid of debt, etc etc. This year, I’m approaching my resolutions a little differently. Here’s the plan.
New Year’s Resolution Plan – 2016
- Tell it to me. This one is a little scary for me. For the first time, I’m having my husband tell me 3 resolutions he’d like me to tackle. The reason behind this is that I want to see myself the way my loved ones do. I want to know what’s important to them (and why). I also want to get an idea of what he values and whether or not we’re on the same page. It’s a little scary but could be quite illuminating. 🙂
- Accountability. Item #1 also helps me be more accountable for my choices. Yes, I could also build up my own mental strength but it’s more fun when others are involved.
- Break it down. Make the goals attainable. What do I want to achieve in a week? A month? By the end of the year. Yes, I want to lose weight but more importantly, I want to know HOW I’m going to get there. So I’ll be jotting down my goals and then breaking it down.
- Celebration. I plan on celebrating the wins. Big or small. I want to own and love the progress and choices I’m making.
In the coming week, I’ll share my resolutions for 2016 and will breakdown my action plan. 🙂 Please come back to see what the hubby chooses for my 3 resolutions, how I break down my resolutions and keep up with my progress throughout the year.
I would also love to hear what made YOUR resolution list for 2016. Share them in the comments.
