During one of my training runs, our group ran past this hillside, blooming with color. That was over a month ago. With the shelter in place orders, I didn’t get the chance to take the kids out for their spring portraits. Plus the weather never worked in our favor.
As Easter weekend came, we lucked out with patches of sun. I had my husband drive us to the spot I had found and kept my fingers crossed that the flowers were still in bloom.
They were! They weren’t as full as they were several weeks prior but they still provided a wonderful backdrop to the kids’ Easter Portraits.
Photo Pullback

This road runs along side the freeway with minimal to zero car traffic. It’s mainly used by bikers and runners. We were able to get the kids portraits completed in under 30 minutes. Something that was much appreciated by my son.
