I love playing with different techniques on my iPhone. Let’s face it – it’s the one camera I have on my nearly 100% of the time. During our recent trip to Lake Tahoe, I decided to play around with the Live function on my iPhone. My son was playfully kicking around the snow & I wanted to get some of the action as the snow sprayed around us.
Making sure it was set to Live, I took my shot. Your phone will select a “Key Image” which is what you will see in your Photos. However, if you open your image you can see the range of the Live shot and click a different one.

I browsed through the range of images and decided on this one, with the spray of snow highlighted by the sun.

Final Image
I did a little bit of editing in post production but I like the final effect.
