Crockpot Nacho Dip
Ingredients:
1 lb. ground beef or turkey
1 packet taco seasoning
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cans of Cream of Chicken soup
2 cups shredded cheese (I like it really cheesy so I was very generous with this portion)
1/4 cup salsa (I used a mild one)
Bag of your favorite tortilla chips
Combine soup and cheese in crockpot. Set to high.
Brown meat and onion until meat is fully cooked. Drain.
Follow instructions as per taco seasoning packet.
Stir meat into the crockpot.
Prep and cook time about 30 minutes.
I left the crockpot on high until all the ingredients were completely melted together.
I changed it to warm to keep the dip warm and well integrated.
Additions: I added a dollop of sour cream and some chopped avocado. You can also add olives and chopped onions.
I’m not very good in the kitchen. My sister got the cooking gene. This crockpot nacho dip is so easy to make and is now one of the most requested dishes for me to bring to parties (though it may be due to the fact that it’s the ONLY thing I can make). Let me know if you try it out and what variations you used.
