If you’ve been following this blog for awhile, you likely know that I love photography. A lot of the photography on this blog features my lifestyle photography of my life at home and around my town. I also have the professional side of my photography, Bamboo Leaf Studios, which features my Modern Teen and Wedding portfolio.
Photography is my passion. It keeps me inspired and pushes my creativity. Every year, I nurture it’s progress and growth with the hopes that it will be my full-time career. Naturally, I’m creating a list for my goals for my business this year. I have a list at home of my 5 and 10 year goals for my personal and professional pursuits. I’ve broken down those goals into yearly & monthly goals to make that final goal line more attainable.
Goals to Grow My Business
- Network. I will connect with industry professionals in my area. I will attend at least one networking event every quarter.
- Re-brand. Create a luxury, high end feel to my deliverables. This includes product packaging, welcome packets and price list. I want everything about my brand to be pretty.
- Pursuit of creativity. Photography has allowed me to view the world in a new way – from the small details to the big picture There are many parts to a single story and I want to learn to recognize them in new and different ways.
- Blog more. I’ve limited a lot of my professional blogging to my client work but this year I’ll be providing more insight into my personal. I want my clients to know who I am and what motivates and inspires me.
These goals for my photography also apply to A Mommentary Life. I want to grow readership of this blog and share more images of life in my town and share more of my Lifestyle work.
