There’s a lot of things that go on in our house on a routine basis – cooking, coloring, house cleaning, the general chaos of having two toddlers running about. One of my favorite things is when the kids pull out the couch cushions to build forts, play hide and seek and just lounge about watching Minions or Cars on the television. Granted, it did take me a while to accept the general chaos and let them push their imaginations.
Malia loves “jumping off the mountain” and crashing into the cushions. I think I’ve got a base jumper in her because this girl is fearless when it comes to the adventurous stuff.
Maxim is learning how to count to ten and utilizes this skill when playing hide and seek with his sister….even if he does peek every now and then.
I couldn’t bear to delete this photo despite being out of focus. Sometimes capturing the story is all you need to do. I love Malia peeking out from the cushions and Maxim pushing his way through the pile.
