It’s almost a month since Malia was born and I’ve gotten used to Mike and I working as a team. It’s made the parenthood learning process easier to ease into. But Mike goes back to work next week and I’m left a little panicked at having to deal with Malia all by myself.
She has mood swings – and the pendulum is fast and furious. She can be dozing with a pacifier in her mouth one second, and the next she’s screaming at the top of her lungs with no provocation. Geez! And she’s so used to having someone next to her. She can’t sleep on her own for long once she’s left alone in her crib or bouncer. She knows!!! And I’m not quite to the point where I can let her cry it out. I can’t do it yet…..
I love this girl – but babies can definitely do a number on your nerves.
Next week could be interesting….keep your fingers crossed for me. Please.
