Whew! My trip to Chicago brought about lots of new things to my Honu world. I’ve got photos. I’ve got videos. And I’ve got recaps of our first family trip to the windy city.
But that’s still coming.
Right now, I’m sitting at my desk feeling a different. Older? Wiser? Matronly?
First, I logged into my computer here at the office and started sorting through my e-mail. I clicked on a survey from the IT seminar I took. The first question asked what age bracket I belonged to?
Yikes!
I moved up an age bracket! I no longer fall into the [25-34] category. I’m the next one up. Oy! Such a little thing, but it gave me a bit of a jolt. Maybe it’s because I am feeling a little more matronly lately. Wider hips, slower metabolism? LOL But I’m also just busy with Malia – planning activities for her and incorporating so much of her into my daily life. Not that I mind, of course. But it still amazes me how much mothers have to adapt to their new world.
