Over the weekend, the family ventured out to Sacramento to enjoy Sunday Brunch at Paragary’s. I love to check out spots in Midtown Sacramento for their vibe and charm.
Paragary’s Midtown Sacramento
The day of our visit, the restaurant featured a prix fixe menu which we decided to partake in. Service was very friendly and the decor created a beautiful setting for brunch.
You started off with a basket of baked goods. The blueberry coffee crumble cake was a table favorite, along with the poppy seed scone. It’s the perfect companion for a latte!
For the second course, I got the beet salad. Surprisingly, this ended up being my favorite dishes.. The bleu cheese with beets were a winning combination. That didn’t stop me from reaching over to my mom’s plate to enjoy her endive salad with salmon. It was such a refreshing bite. I added a bit of my bleu cheese to the endive to enjoy that creaminess a little bit more.
My final meal was the dungeness crab benedict. The potatoes were perfectly crisped and seasoned. The benedict featured real crab meat and chunky at that! Each bite featured a flavorful chunk of crab which is hard to find these days. The eggs were cooked absolutely perfect. I broke into mine and it oozed it in just the right consistency. One of the best benedicts I’ve had in a very long time.
