One of my favorite things about being a photographer is being able to stop time and capture the lives of my kids. It’s always fun for me to go back and see how much they’ve changed and relive memories from the last few years. I look forward to being able to do that and that’s why I’m so excited to be a part of a new project called the 5 on 5 Project.
The 5 on 5 Project is a monthly blog circle where on the 5th of every month, we each share 5 images to share a story. I’ve always enjoyed taking portraits of my kids but have wanted my images to tell the story of that moment – whether it be a day at the park or cooking in the kitchen with mommy. I hope this project allows me to view our life story from many different perspectives and to effectively capture the mood, emotion and story of the moment.
The project also allows me to glimpse into the loves of the wonderful storytellers that are a part of this blog circle. With each blog post in the project, you’ll be introduced to a new photographer and storyteller. I encourage to move through the blog circle and meet the collective talents within.
I also invite you to follow me on Facebook or Instagram to see another glimpse into the project. #5on5 #aMommentaryLife
