…has taught me that when parenthood gets rough, think back to the first night. Then things seem a little more easier to handle.
LOL
Things were rough last night as we dealt with a very fussy baby and as I looked over at Mike, trying to calm a freaking out baby in the middle of the night, I told him “At least it wasn’t like the first night at the hospital”
Nearly 36 hours of no sleep, a new baby, and no clue what we were supposed to do? Yeah, I think I blocked out the difficulties of that first morning much more than I blocked out the labor itself. I guess I was fortunate to have had a relatively pleasant delivery. LOL
So when things are rough, I think of that first morning and things start to look a little brighter. 🙂
