Vacaville Farmer’s Market
One of my favorite things about summer is visiting the local Farmer’s markets around Solano County. It’s a fun and affordable way to enjoy the summer mornings with the family before the heat kicks in.
The Vacaville Farmer’s Market is one of my favorites! It takes place on Saturday mornings in downtown Vacaville and is open from 8:00am to Noon. It is located on the 300 Block of Main Street.
Visit the Vacaville Event Calendar for more information.
Not having a green thumb myself, I love to walk through the booths of gorgeous floral bouquets and buying some to add a touch of color to our home. Full bouquets and floral bunches are available for purchase.
For the kids, I love introducing them to different fruits and am so grateful that the vendors offer a wide array of fruits to sample from. White peaches are a big favorite in our home for their sweetness and crunch. The selection of organic fruits and vegetables is perfect for planning out our weekly snacks and managing the kids’ sweet tooth.
Afterwards, we love to explore the local restaurants in downtown Vacaville. Grab a coffee or pastry at Pure Grain Bakery or enjoy a delicious Mexican platter at Los Reyes. It’s one of my favorite ways to kick off the weekend.
UPCOMING DATES FOR THIS EVENT:
- July 29
- August 5, 12, 19, 26
- September 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
Plenty of street parking is available or park at the local library parking lot and walk the block to the market. Bring your re-usable shopping bags and enjoy a morning of shopping.

So crazy that I’ve never been to the Vacaville Farmers Market! I sometimes go to the one in Fairfield (I live downtown, so it’s just a 5 min walk away) but it doesn’t start until 3pm and by then it’s so hot out! Vacaville always has fun things going on! My mom likes to drag me there on Friday nights for those Creekwalk concerts, hahah.
The Vacaville one is small but just right for getting my produce for the week. And the prices are reasonable. It’s hard for me to get to the Fairfield one too.
