Ok – I’m not the craftiest of moms but I was still tickled pink to make my daughter’s Valentine’s day treats for daycare-preschool. I’m not much for the hearts and cupids (faaaaar too young for that! lol) I thought this “I’m Glad You’re In My School” was a good compromise.
My Simple Valentine’s Day Treat: I’m Glad You’re in My School
- Brown paper lunch bags
- Gold Fish Crackers
- Animal Crackers
- Stickers
- $0.10 toys from PartyCity.com
- Mailing labels
Other variations of the same theme include:
- You’re a great catch
- You’re o”FISH”ally my Valentine
- Of all the fish in the sea, I choose YOU
- I’m glad we swim in the same school
I’m not one for cutting shapes and layering my crafts with nifty designs. I love them though. I’m always in awe at the designs DIYers come up with, mixing textures and patterns to create a great design. This was more up my alley. Fill a paper bag with treats and seal!
And of course, I bought some beautiful Spring Tulips for her teacher. I love all of the hardwork “Mama Lupe” puts in at her daycare. Her lesson plans, music and dance programs spark so much creativity in the kids. She definitely deserves a Valentine’s Day Treat.
