As summer quickly approaches, my family & I ventured into our local Home Depot to start up our summer garden. I didn’t have my camera on hand for the excursion but still captured some images using my phone.
Believe it or not, I enjoy photographing the kids while we’re out shopping. You can often find straight lines, continual patterns and blocks of color while you’re out shopping. It’s a photography dream!

The kids had a fun time helping their Mamu (Grandma) pick out plants for the summer garden. Max went for the ones with the most leaves. Malia would have been thrilled to pick out every tomato plant in the store.

After picking out the herbs & vegetables, I ushered them inside to help me pick out new plants for the home office and patio. We added on a couple calla lily plants for some pops of color on the patio.
I also went searching for a fiddle leaf plant for my office. I’ve been wanting to add one of these to my office. Low maintenance with large round leaves to add color to the room.
I captured this adorable image through some of the palm leaves as the kids made their way down the aisle. Seriously, how adorable.
