Our week days run long with school, swim, hula, run club or boxing. To say that we’re tired at the end of the week would be an understatement. So I was definitely feeling the evening vibes flowing from this scene as the week wrapped up for the kids. Lucky ducks get a 4-day weekend!
Behind the Shot
This room happens to be one of my favorite rooms in the house to shoot in as it’s the most lived in & has the best light as the sun sets behind the house. You’ve probably seen it before in my other photos. I like to hide the clutter in shadow or through composition.
I took this shot from the kitchen so as not to intrude. I intentionally shot wide to give me a larger to canvas to work with. Because of the clutter in the room, I wanted to be able to crop and manipulate the image as needed.
