Taking photos of my kids isn’t always an easy thing. The sight of my camera and its lenses of varying lengths tend to drive them under the covers. Lately though, I found it’s much easier to photograph them when they’re in a social setting. You know, because it’s MUCH cooler to do what the other kids are doing than doing what mommy wants you to do.
So Malia joined me as I took photos of a friend over the weekend. Before I knew it, she was smiling on cue, looking directly at the camera. SCORE!!
These were taken with my 70-200mm to allow for distance and to compress the background into the image. 🙂 And that’s your momography tip of the week!
Aww…they are so adorable. I’m glad my kids are finally back to loving the camera again because they went through a stage where they were not feeling having their pictures taken.
I’ll have to post photos of my daughter in Hawaii and her expression when I asked her for photos. One day she’ll be grateful, I’m sure. 🙂
