I love supporting our local markets and just discovered the Vacaville Vintage Market while perusing Facebook the other day.
We took the dual stroller out, strapped the kids in for a day of browsing and tried to shop without drawing too much of my husband’s attention. HA! With the 80 degree temperatures, this was a perfect way for me to spend the day while keeping the kids mind’s engaged with people watching.
The market is small, taking place at a local church parking lot, but it oozed charm with it’s wonderful variety of vendors. You could tell that the vendors enjoy what they do because it showed in their work. I was charmed by the great colors and decorative/refurbishing talents out there. The patterns, the styles and the selection were so enjoyable to look at. As a local market, I found it very enjoyable. It had a sense of community, a wonderful selection and very friendly people. I’ll definitely attend again….with cash. 🙂
